Day 1 – Sunday – Nairobi
You’ll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, located just outside of Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Once you clear customs and collect your luggage, you’ll be greeted by a representative from our tour company who will transfer you to your accommodation for the night.
Your accommodation for the night will be at the Wildebeest Eco Camp, located in the tranquil suburb of Karen District in Nairobi. The camp offers deluxe safari tents for guests, providing a comfortable and unique experience in the heart of the African bush. The camp is located about 45 minutes from the airport, providing a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.
After settling into your tent, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at the camp’s restaurant, featuring a variety of local and international dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The camp is known for its eco-friendly practices, so you can feel good knowing that your meals are made with sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients. After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps taking a stroll around the camp’s beautiful grounds or sitting by the fire pit with a drink. You’ll retire to your safari tent for a restful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 2 – Monday – Masai Mara National reserve
After a restful night’s sleep at the Wildebeest Eco Camp, you’ll wake up to a delicious breakfast at the camp’s restaurant, featuring a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes to fuel your day ahead.
At 8:00 am, you’ll meet your driver and set out on a 5-hour drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations. Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque villages and rolling hills, with opportunities to stop for photos and rest breaks as needed. Once you arrive at the Masai Mara, you’ll check in to the Ilkeliani Camp, your accommodation for the next few days. The camp offers comfortable and spacious tents, each with its own private en-suite bathroom and veranda. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp’s restaurant, featuring a variety of fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
After lunch, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive, with opportunities to see a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Your experienced guide will help you spot and identify the various animals and birds you encounter, providing information and insight into their behaviors and habitats.
In the evening, you’ll return to the Ilkeliani Camp for dinner, featuring a variety of dishes made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to relax around the campfire, swap stories with your fellow travelers, and enjoy the starry African sky. You’ll retire to your comfortable tent for a restful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
Day 3 – Tuesday – Masai Mara National reserve
After a hearty breakfast at the Ilkeliani Camp, you’ll embark on a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, and many more species.
Your experienced guide will lead you on a safari adventure through the reserve, stopping at various points to observe and photograph the wildlife. You’ll have ample opportunities to get up close and personal with the animals, witnessing their behaviors and interactions in their natural habitat. During the day, you’ll take a break for a picnic lunch, enjoying a tasty meal in the heart of the African bush. You’ll have the opportunity to rest and recharge before continuing your adventure.
As the sun begins to set, you’ll return to the Ilkeliani Camp for a delicious dinner featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps taking a walk around the camp’s grounds or sitting by the campfire with a drink. Day 4 – Wednesday – Lake Nakuru National park
After a delicious breakfast at the Ilkeliani Camp, you’ll set out on a 4-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic countryside and have the opportunity to stop for photos and rest breaks as needed.
Once you arrive at the park, you’ll check in to the Flamingo Hill Camp, your home for the next few days. The camp is situated on a hill overlooking Lake Nakuru and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the camp’s restaurant, featuring a variety of dishes made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. After lunch, you’ll embark on an afternoon game drive in the park. Lake Nakuru is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and many species of birds. You’ll have the opportunity to spot and observe these animals, learning about their behaviors and habitats from your experienced guide.
In the evening, you’ll return to the Flamingo Hill Camp for dinner, featuring a variety of dishes made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps taking a walk around the camp’s grounds or sitting by the campfire with a drink. You’ll retire to your comfortable tent for a restful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
Day 5 – Thursday – Amboseli National park
After a delicious breakfast at Flamingo Hill Camp, you’ll set out on a 3-hour drive to Nairobi. Along the way, you’ll pass through scenic countryside and have the opportunity to stop for photos and rest breaks as needed.
Once you arrive in Nairobi, you’ll continue on to Amboseli National Park, a journey of about 4 hours. You’ll enjoy a local lunch en route at a restaurant in Emali village, where you’ll have the chance to try some authentic Kenyan cuisine. After lunch, you’ll arrive at the Kibo Safari Camp, your home for the next few days. The camp is situated on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll check in and settle into your comfortable tented accommodation.
In the evening, you’ll embark on a guided nature walk in the park. This is a great opportunity to stretch your legs after a long drive and get up close and personal with the local flora and fauna. Your guide will point out different plants and animals, and provide information about their ecological and cultural significance. After your nature walk, you’ll return to the Kibo Safari Camp for dinner, featuring a variety of dishes made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. You’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps taking a walk around the camp’s grounds or sitting by the campfire with a drink. You’ll go to your comfortable tent for a restful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
Day 6 – Friday – Amboseli National park
Full day unlimited game viewing. All meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 7 – Saturday – Arusha
After breakfast at Kibo Safari Camp, you’ll leave Amboseli National Park and make your way towards the Tarakea Border Post between Kenya and Tanzania, which is about a two-hour drive from the camp. Your guide will ensure that you complete all immigration and customs formalities at the border in a timely manner.
Once the formalities are done, you’ll transfer to a Tanzanian vehicle and guide who will take you to Arusha, a drive that will take approximately 5 hours. Along the way, you’ll have a chance to stop and stretch your legs at the Kinukamori Waterfalls. These waterfalls are one of the three main waterfalls in the Marangu area, and they offer stunning views of the surrounding lush forests. You’ll be accompanied by a local guide who will take you through the forest trails leading to the waterfalls. The trails are full of exotic flora and fauna, and the sound of cascading water is a refreshing backdrop to the hike. The waterfalls themselves are a sight to behold, with the water plunging down into a crystal-clear pool below. You can take a refreshing dip in the cool water or just sit back and admire the stunning scenery.
After the visit to the waterfalls, you’ll have a picnic lunch before continuing your journey to Arusha. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, and your guide will drop you off at the African View Lodge or Dik Dik Hotel, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night. This will be a chance for you to rest and recharge before continuing your adventure in Tanzania
Day 8 – Sunday – Lake Manyara NP
You’ll begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the lodge. The breakfast is likely to include a variety of options, such as freshly baked bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and more. You can enjoy your meal while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
After breakfast, you’ll start your journey towards Lake Manyara National Park. The drive will take approximately 2.5 hours, but the journey is sure to be scenic and full of wildlife sightings. As you approach the park, keep your eyes peeled for the iconic acacia trees that are a hallmark of the region. Once you arrive at Lake Manyara National Park, you’ll begin your morning game drive. This is a unique opportunity to explore the park and see its many resident animals. Some of the animals you may spot include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and various species of antelope.
Our guide will help you spot wildlife and provide insightful commentary on the flora and fauna of the area.You’ll break for a picnic lunch in a scenic location within the park. After lunch, you’ll continue with the game drive until late in the afternoon. This is an excellent time to see predators such as lions and leopards, as they are often more active during the cooler hours of the day. You’ll have ample time to explore the park and see as many animals as possible.
As the sun sets, you’ll leave the park and return to the Country Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a well-deserved dinner. The lodge is known for its excellent cuisine, which combines local flavors and ingredients with international cooking techniques. You’ll have a chance to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring, and perhaps share stories with other travelers about your exciting wildlife sightings; and eager to see what adventures tomorrow will bring
Day 9; Ngorongoro Crater (Monday)
Your day will begin with a delicious breakfast at the lodge, likely consisting of a variety of options such as cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausages, and more. You’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your meal and soak in the peaceful surroundings before embarking on your next adventure.
At 8:00 am, you’ll hop into your vehicle and make the short 20-minute drive to Ngorongoro Crater. This is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore it on a half-day tour that will last approximately five hours. Upon arrival at the crater, our guide will take you on a tour of this incredible landscape. The crater is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, and more. You’ll have a chance to spot these amazing animals up close and learn about their behavior and habitat from your knowledgeable guide. After the crater tour, you’ll begin the approximately three-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping along the way for a picnic lunch. The lodge will provide you with a tasty lunch that you can enjoy in a scenic location, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Tanzania. As you approach Serengeti National Park, keep your eyes peeled for the iconic wildlife and landscapes that have made this park famous. You’ll arrive at the Hippo Trails Camp in the late afternoon, just in time for a delicious dinner. The camp is known for its fantastic food, which is often prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
After dinner, you’ll retire to your comfortable tent for a good night’s sleep. The tents at Hippo Trails Camp are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to feel at home in the wilderness. You’ll drift off to sleep to the sounds of the African night, dreaming of the amazing wildlife sightings that await you tomorrow.
Day 10; Serengeti National Park (Tuesday)
You’ll wake up early at Hippo Trails Camp, and after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set out for a full day of unlimited game viewing in Serengeti National Park. This is one of the most famous and spectacular wildlife destinations in the world, and you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience.
Our guide will help you spot wildlife and provide you with fascinating insights into the park’s ecology and history. The guide will navigate the park’s vast landscape, seeking out the best places to spot animals and ensuring that you have a chance to see as much as possible during your time in the park. As you drive through the park, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the African savannah, dotted with acacia trees and punctuated by rocky outcroppings. You’ll see herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing on the grass, and perhaps catch a glimpse of a lion or leopard lurking in the shadows. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic location within the park, enjoying a tasty meal while surrounded by the wonders of nature. The game drive will continue throughout the afternoon, as you explore different regions of the park and look for more wildlife sightings. Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to see the famous wildebeest migration, where millions of these animals move across the park in search of fresh grazing. As the sun begins to set, you’ll return to Hippo Trails Camp for a well-deserved dinner. You’ll be treated to another delicious meal, enjoying the company of your fellow travelers and sharing stories of the day’s adventures.
After dinner, you’ll retire to your comfortable tent for a good night’s sleep. The tents at Hippo Trails Camp are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need to feel at home in the wilderness. You’ll drift off to sleep, perhaps dreaming of the amazing wildlife sightings you’ll have tomorrow.
Day 11; Karatu (Wednesday)
You’ll wake up early at Hippo Trails Camp to begin an exciting day of game viewing in Serengeti National Park. You’ll head out on an early morning game drive at 6:30 am, when the animals are most active and the light is perfect for photography. You’ll have the opportunity to see predators on the hunt and herbivores grazing on the savannah. Your experienced guide will help you spot wildlife and provide you with fascinating insights into the park’s ecology and history.
After the game drive, you’ll return to Hippo Trails Camp for a well-deserved breakfast before beginning the next leg of your journey. At 10:00 am, you’ll set out on a 3.5-hour drive to Karatu, with game viewing and a picnic lunch en route. You’ll be able to enjoy the stunning scenery of Tanzania and the wildlife that calls it home, while also stopping for a break to enjoy your picnic lunch. You’ll have the opportunity to stretch your legs and soak up the sun before continuing on to Karatu. Once you arrive in Karatu, you’ll check into the Marera Safari Lodge, a beautiful retreat located in the heart of the Tanzanian countryside. After settling into your room, you’ll have some free time to explore the lodge’s facilities and relax before dinner. In the evening, you’ll participate in a guided Coffee Tour, a fascinating experience that will take you through the process of growing, harvesting, and roasting coffee beans. You’ll learn about the history of coffee in Tanzania and the important role it plays in the local economy. You’ll also have a chance to taste some delicious coffee and purchase some to take home with you.
After the coffee tour, you’ll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner. You’ll enjoy a variety of local and international dishes, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. After dinner, you’ll retire to your comfortable room for a good night’s sleep, feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after a full day of adventure.
Day 12: Tarangire National Park (Thursday)
You’ll wake up to a beautiful morning at Marera Safari Lodge and enjoy a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll set out for Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive away. As you make your way to the park, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the stunning scenery of Tanzania, passing through small towns and villages along the way.
Once you arrive at Tarangire National Park, you’ll embark on a morning game drive, led by your experienced guide. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, and you’ll have the chance to see these majestic creatures up close, as well as many other species of wildlife, such as giraffes, zebras, and lions. Your guide will take you to the best spots to see the animals, and provide you with fascinating insights into their behavior and ecology. After the morning game drive, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch in a scenic location within the park, enjoying a tasty meal surrounded by the wonders of nature. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your exploration of Tarangire National Park on another game drive. You’ll have the opportunity to see even more wildlife, and perhaps even witness predators in action. Your guide will ensure that you get the most out of your time in the park, pointing out interesting features of the landscape and providing you with information about the animals you see. As the sun begins to set, you’ll head to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, where you’ll spend the night. The lodge is located on the outskirts of the park, and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. You’ll check into your comfortable tented accommodation and freshen up before dinner. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, featuring a range of local and international dishes. You’ll have the chance to relax and chat with your fellow travelers, sharing stories of your day’s adventures.
After dinner, you’ll go in your tented accommodation for a restful night’s sleep, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness
Day thirteen; (Friday)
You’ll wake up early in the morning at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge and have the opportunity to participate in a guided nature walk to the shores of Lake Burunge. The walk will take about 1.5 hours and will provide you with a unique perspective on the flora and fauna of Tanzania. You’ll have the chance to see a variety of bird species and perhaps even some smaller animals, such as monkeys or antelopes. Your guide will provide you with information about the plants and animals you see, as well as the local culture and history of the area.
After the nature walk, you’ll return to the camp for a delicious breakfast. You’ll have some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the camp before beginning the journey back to Arusha. At 9:00 am, you’ll set out on a 2-hour drive back to Arusha, passing through small towns and villages along the way. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic location, enjoying the beautiful Tanzanian landscape as you eat.
Once you arrive in Arusha, you’ll be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll catch your flight home or to your next destination. You’ll say goodbye to your guide and fellow travelers, feeling grateful for the amazing experiences and memories you’ve shared together over the past several days. You’ll leave Tanzania with a newfound appreciation for its natural wonders and the kindness of its people, and with memories that will last a lifetime.
