Mount Meru Climb: 4-days From/to Arusha
Private Tour
Tanzania,
Description
Mount Meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania, at 14979ft/4566m. and is overshadowed by Kilimanjaro, its famous neighbour. Not only is it a rewarding and picturesque trek in its own right, providing spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding country side, but it is also very good acclimatization for a Kilimanjaro trek. A trek involves hiking through the forest and grassland on the mountain’s lower slopes, followed by a dramatic and exhilarating ridge-walk to the summit. Mount Meru is situated in Arusha National Park.
