- Tanzania Migration Classic is a carefully designed safari that visits Tanzania’s renowned Northern Circuit wildlife destinations of Lake Manyara or Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. It is a timeless classic for the first-time safari holiday traveler and even repeat traveler. In this safari, Africa Travel Bureau, strives to bring the travelers as closest as possible to be amongst the great herds and best game viewing areas depending on the time of the year and the rains. For this reason, Africa Travel Bureau, also uses classic wilderness tented mobile camps in all the locations – these camps are seasonal and move depending on the animal migrations to be located in close proximity with the game.
o Tarangire National Park (June to October) – is the main dry season – and is the best period to spot wildlife when it migrates into the park – around the Tarangire River.
o Lake Manyara National Park (December to March) – the bulk of the migration slowly starts to move out of Tarangire National Park towards the north into Lake Manyara National Park and the surrounding wildlife dispersal areas.
o Serengeti/Masai Mara annual animal migration – mid-December to May – Southern Serengeti around Lake Ndutu; June – around the Seronera Area of Central Serengeti; July – the migration is on their way north through the western corridor; August to September – Masai Mara; October – the migration re-enters the Serengeti at the north; November – mid-December – around the Seronera Area of Central Serengeti.
